About Us

The Attilio Group, LLC, based in Racine, Wisconsin, was formed in 2007; we are a Wisconsin Member-Managed Limited Liability Company serving clients both in the Midwest and nation-wide. Our core business is as a transaction processor for project-based companies.

The company's nucleus comprises a small group of business men and women, construction company owners, CPAs, and other professionals with decades of experience.

We are dedicated to a common business philosophy of simplification, efficiency, and "perfect" communication to optimize the business environment of the construction industry. We lower costs by standardizing methods, enhancing communication and by elevating the overall level of sophistication of every transaction and interaction.

The Attilio Group is proud to have partnered with project-based companies throughout the continental United States, with annual operations of between $1 million and $50 million. Our "best fit" customer companies feature forward-thinking management that is willing to embrace technology and proven methodologies designed to enhance efficiencies in pursuit of competitive advantage.

John Carpenter - Founder, President, and Chief Operations Officer

John has 19 years of experience in public accounting and in private industry serving the manufacturing, healthcare, and construction industries. His areas of expertise include assisting customer/clients in identifying and prioritizing strategic, operational, and financial weaknesses or deficiencies, and implementing results-oriented corrective action programs. John is a Certified Public Accountant and certified Lean Six Sigma.

Nathan Cucciare-Technology Director

Nathan is responsible for  the IT component of the The Attilio Group. He has a wealth of experience serving in various technology capacities for over thirteen years. Prior to joining TAG he provided network service support and overall systems administration for a major leasing company as well as a large general contractor. He has substantial experience with systems conversions, including those which have moved to the TAG platform. Nathan holds a CIS Network Specialist Degree and has completed numerous Microsoft, Cisco and related technology seminars.

Theodore Hart

Ted joined the Attilio Group after retiring from a nationally recognized public accounting firm, in December of 2010. He most recently served  as the Managing Partner of Clifton Gunderson LLP's Wisconsin offices. He also served as Chairman of the Partnership Board for eight years, guiding the firm though CEO transition and the growth from  a regional CPA firm to national firm status. He is an experienced senior executive known for innovative and effective leadership. He brings a myriad of skills and experience to The Attilio Group. He is a certified public accountant, certified fraud examiner and is Certified in Fraud and Forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  

 ADVISORY BOARD:

The Attilio Group Advisory Board is comprised of individuals with significant training and experience in industry, technology and professional services. Our Advisory Board provides input into the strategic direction of TAG and insight into the services we provide and the manner in which we provide them. They are active in businesses not associated with TAG, and we access their varied backgrounds, networks and experience to keep informed of industry trends and opportunities to improve the TAG methodology.

Rich Larsen

Rich brings over 16 years of related business experience to the TAG Advidory Board. Rich was a Senior Manager with a national public accounting firm, serving privately-owned businesses clients for over ten years. Rich left public accounting to aquire and manage an industrial supply company. He sold this successful company several years later and is currently an executive with a managent firm addressing investment, operational and strategic matters. Rich is a certified public accountant and holds a Masters Degree in Taxation.

Mark McCleary

Mark joined The Attilio Group Advisory Board in January of 2011, with thirty five years of marketing and general managment experience. Prior to joining the Advisory Board he held several corporate executive positions. Most recently, he held the position of Global Vice President - Marketing & Brand Management at Brunswick Corporation's Life Fitness Division.  In this role, he lead the company's strategy, business development, marketing and brand management departments. Mark has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from Appalachian State University.
